CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES WHEN PURCHASING CONTACT LENSES ONLINE
Please read the information below carefully before making a purchase for our contact lenses online. Contact lenses are considered a medical device in Australia and hence should be treated as such. By placing an order of contact lenses through us, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Prescription requirement: Contact lenses are medical devices that require a valid prescription from a licensed eyecare professional. By placing an order for contact lenses, you confirm that you have a valid prescription for the contact lenses you are purchasing and that you will provide accurate and complete prescription information during the ordering process.
Authorization for contact lens verification: By placing an order for contact lenses, you authorise us to verify your prescription information with your eye care professional, including but not limited to, contacting your eye care professional to verify your prescription and/or request additional information.
Ordering : You may place an order for contact lenses through our website viewpoint-optical.com.au by providing accurate and complete information during the ordering process.
Ordering contact lenses without a legal contact lens prescription is not permitted. No refunds or exchanges will be given to customers whom engage in this act.
CONTACT LENSES PURCHASED ON OUR SITE
If your prescription has changed and there are unopened boxes, Viewpoint Optical can provide an exchange with the new prescription. Please note this is only applicable if there is over 1 year remaining in the expiry. The patient must pay for the cost of freight on exchanged lenses due to changed prescription. Goes without saying but the contact lenses must have been purchased at Viewpoint Optical P/L. Contact lenses cannot be exchanged or refunded if the package has been broken.
Conditions for returning contact lenses.
Item(s) have to be initiated for return and placed in the post within 30 days of the purchase date.
Item(s) were not marked “Clearance Sale” or “Non-Returnable” at the time of purchase, unless faulty.
Item(s) must be in the original packaging, which must be in original condition. This includes branded cases and packaging.
Item(s) must be unworn and unused.
To initiate returns, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for a “return authorisation number”.
Contact lenses cannot be exchanged or refunded if the package has been broken.
THE CONTACT LENS I GOT ARE ACTUALLY FAULTY WHEN I GOT THEM…
Should the lenses be defective on arrival, please contact us within 30 days to request a return. You may be required to provide proof of purchase, prescription information and evidence of defect or damage. If your return is approved, we will provide you with instructions on how to return the contact lenses.
You are responsible for the cost of return shipping of the contact lenses, unless the return is due to our error or the contact lenses are confirmed to be defective or damaged. We recommend that you use a tracable shipping method and retain proof of shipment for your records.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY REFUND?
Refunds through Paypal will be processed within 7 business days upon receiving the returning products, provided the conditions of returns are met.
