Whether you’re after the perfect frame, a contact lens fitting or even an overdue eye exam, the team at Viewpoint Optical is happy to see you.

Retinal photography is essential in managing glaucoma, macular degeneration, high blood pressure and more. There’s just a small fee for this state-of-the-art technology and we’ll also keep your retinal photographs on file for ongoing management and treatment.

Myopia (short-sightedness) is now considered a pandemic, with the increase in screen use contributing to its rise. We no longer want to just give a pair of glasses because you can’t see, we want to get to the root of the issue and slow down your vision deterioration!

A new technology that involves wearing a contact lens at night to correct your vision, great for anyone that has a dislike for glasses or suffering from dry eyes. We call these lenses Ortho-K lenses. Ortho-K lenses are also great at helping slow down the deterioration of shortsightness.

If you’re a part of Medicare Australia and have a current Medicare card, your basic eye examinations are covered- prescription checks and basic health overview. Bring your current Medicare card and we’ll bulk bill your eye exam directly to Medicare – easy!

New to contact lenses? That’s ok. Our experienced optometrists Ming and Jeffery are here to help. They’ll go over all your options and help you decide which types of lenses are best for y-o-u.

The Visual Field exam helps detect signs of glaucoma, stroke, brain tumours and other neurological deficits. We use the Matrix FDT, which helps detect glaucoma even earlier than other conventional methods!

Patients suffering from diabetes and/or high blood pressure have an increased risk of permanent eye damage, so we encourage yearly eye exams to monitor any changes.
