The Beginning of DITA
Founded in Los Angeles in 1995 by John Juniper and Jeff Solorio, DITA was born from a passion for
photography, design, and fashion. The vision was clear from the start: to create eyewear that embodies the
precision and prestige of a luxury sports car.
Master Craftsmanship
DITA eyewear is primarily handcrafted in Japan, and each frame takes up to 8 months and over 100
production steps to complete. From precision-cut titanium to advanced electroplating and meticulous
hand-polishing, every detail is carefully considered. The iconic Mach-One series, inspired by the aesthetics of
sports cars and machinery, represents the brand’s bold and powerful design DNA.
Loved by Celebrities and Trendsetters
DITA frames have become a favorite in Hollywood and among global style icons. Musicians, actors, and
fashion leaders alike appreciate DITA not just as eyewear, but as a statement of individuality and strength. It’s
no surprise that DITA is often called the “Rolls-Royce of eyewear.”
